Just bought an 87 TII and some stock FD wheels..

I did a search and found that I need 20-25mm spacers up front, but the rears should fit okay (might need to roll fenders). The car is pretty low (about one finger width of wheel gap).

From searching 16x8 wheels, some people say to run a 225 width tire up front. Is this the widest I can go for the fronts, or will a 325 fit? I want a sidewall of 45 or 50. I need to get some tires on this thing asap, so any front & rear tire combos that would fit would be greatly appreciated.

Run 225 size tires all around, they will wear better and even, you only need a bigger tire if your making like 400-500hp. Run a 50, that will fill up the wheel well alittle better. Run 25mm spacers on all 4 or your wheel spacing will look like ****. Basically thats it. You may want to roll the front fenders alittle if your car is that low, I know with my JIC, and Fd wheels the front rubs.

My suggestion for the FD Wheels, which is what I did:

I ran Project KICS 20mm spacers up front, netting a +30 offset with a 225/50/16.

I ran Project KICS 25mm spacers in rear, netting a +25 offset with a 245/45/16.

This setup is perfect. I suggest spacing out the rears so that you widen your wheel track and improve lateral stability if front wheel track is widened also.

i can check if they still have these spacers. I think they are around $220.00 plus shipping. That's for all four spacers, they are studded, and don't require any modification to your existing studs. They simply bolt on, and the wheel onto the new spacers. THey are seamless.

ARGH! I ordered a set of spacers from rxecret7.com and then they call me to tell me they don't have them in stock Does anyone know any other places to order them? Local shops haven't been too helpful.

OK YO I have a set in stock.

You can go all 20mm front and rear if you want, or do 25mm in the rear. Just PM me or email me sales@autornd.com and i'll send over a price quote.

They look like this. Keep in mind that the hubring is additional. I'm not sure if those are in stock. I'm using them without the modular hubring for now until they come into stock.

These go for around $110.00 to $120.00 per pair. So front and rear can be up to $240.00 for the parts alone. Not too shabby tho compared to H&R or custom fab ones.
