JIC FLT-A2 Maintenance Question

How often should these be rebuilt? I've had mine on for a wonderful 3k miles so far but would like to know when they should be taken off for servicing.

Also, does anybody know where there is anyplace from Portland, OR to Vancouver, B.C. that does service them? Or should I just go somewhere with the parts to rebuild them and let a shop that handles this sort of work on a regular basis? If that is the case, where can I get some rebuild kits. Rishie, perhaps?

Thanks in advance.

Zeil Motorsports in Downey, CA is the distributor and does the rebuilding in the US. You can e-mail Jon K. and ask him. http://www.jic-magic.com/contact.html

Yup. That's the answer. I would have Ziel take care of all your rebuilding or customizing needs once your setup has been purchased. You might want to approach the dealer you bought them from to see if he can hook you up on the cost of such a service.

I have no doubt that they can rebuild Ohlins or Penskes. Might just give them a call and find out. Being that they're dedicating all their efforts to the JIC line I assume they would provide such a service to a direct client of theirs.

Konis - Tri-Point

Ohlins/Penskes - Any of the hardcore places. I'd go to a porsche or lotus tuner. If adept one could rebuild these yourself. It's nice to have the parts easily available with these two brands. Being that Jon K tunes porsches I know he'd be qualified. Cost I do not know.

JIC-Ziel, JIC USA. I know they rebuild in house.

Tein-Tein USA.

Thanks for the great info everybody!

I want to plan ahead so when this needs to get done it's no big deal. Going to the shop that I bought this from for help isn't really an option. I bought them in Japan. California is much, much closer.
