Integral Offsets

From what I've read/found via searching, A SSR Integral in 17x9 with a backspace of 5.9" would have an offset of 1.4", which I think calculates to a 38mm offset. (Some website listed in the stickies said this would be 20mm offset though?)

Is there any chance those would fit on a lowered, coilover equipped FD without violent rubbing?

My thought is that they may work, but they will likely rub, and you might have to roll the fenders too.

Ok, I figured out where my offset calculation was wrong.

It's Backspacing - 1/2 * (advertised wheel width + 1") = offset

So the offset on these integrals is .9" or about 23mm, which will not fit at all.

try a completed item search...

a lot of times people list a high price on their wheels and no one bids, and the seller doesnt bother relisting the item. Or the reserve is not met. Ebay has its auctions from a month ago in a completed items search. Anyways, just a suggestion, if you can find the right offsets for wheels, good luck

No bids at 2k, I guarentee he would take much less.. An 18x9 +40 around should be a pretty good fitment on an FD.. the 265s in front might be a tight fit though

if you like the fugly GT-Ps

Yep.

I've been watching for 17x9" Integrals on ebay for 2 years. I don't think I've seen a set with FD-compatible offsets go on there, at least not when I had money to buy them.

They're still my favorite street wheel for the FD.

I need to find someone who wants to upgrade to 18x10's and would like to get rid of theirs...

I am sad to hear this because I too have been watching ebay for 2 years for intergral a-2 17x9. Now I know I have two hurdles...first they have to come up and now I have to outbid all of you..

bummer...

And I have two - 17x8 and one - 17x9 Intergrals sitting in my garage waiting for the day they will once again be a complete set...

lol, I've been looking for some 17X9's for a while now! I would like to get to having the same size front and back again, just to be able to rotate the tires again. I may just end up getting some 17X10's and ditch the Intergrals all together.

I'll trade you my 2 8" rims for your 2 9" rims - even steven. That way you'd have 8's all the way around - just what you are looking for!

They had +38, +45 and one lesser offset, probably one in the +2X range.

For your info, and by personal experience, 17x9 38 offset will be fine in the back. You can go as far as a 17x8 32 offset for the front. Do not go lower than 32mm in the front for a 8in rim.

Why? What are you buying? The +45 offset will work great up front. The others won't. Nothing to worry about.

Might sound stupid but i DONT know the offsets. I bought the wheels off someone here who had them on their fd so i know its possible to have it on the car. The thing is what i might go through when i find out it might not fit unless alterations are made.

SSR puts the offsets on their wheels. There should be a plaque on the inside of the rim.

I wouldn't be sure they'll fit -- I see a lot of wheels people are trying to sell that won't fit, despite claims to the contrary.

O cool, im gonna go and check it out. Thanks.

But umm it def fits on an FD cause i seen pics of these exact wheels i bought on an FD. I bought these wheels from lane change, who had them on an FD so i know its possible. The suspension setup or fender rolling? We'll see what i have to do to get these on if i have to do any.
