Arrow Informative review on the Yokohama AD08

While doing some research for my next set of tires to blast through the Dragon in April at Deal's Gap Rotary Rally 2010 I came upon this article and thought I'd share

Not bad, has autocross impressions as well as a road race comparison between the AD07 and AD08

If it's anything like it's predecessor, it's most likely the best street tire available. However, I don't think it's the best street tire for your dollar as it is significantly more than most of it's competitors. The one scenerio I could see it benefitting some one is in a street tire AutoX or Track class and you have deep pockets(and you are one of the top driver's needing that little extra "edge"). Other than that, I don't think you'll be able to tell that much of a difference between something like the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Starspec's or the Kumho XS's.

Tire Rack wholesale, there is not much of a price difference between the ADO8s and the Star Specs, and I already have the XS on my Fikse street wheels, so decided to try the Advans..... I've always liked Yokohama's products.

That sounds like a good deal Rich! I really hadn't looked at the price of the AD08's until you said that, they seem to be a little cheaper than the AD07's and you said you are getting them at a wholesale price... I bet that makes it all the harder to say no to The AD07's were like $340 or so each in my size from tire rack I think. If I remember correctly, my Starspecs were $242 each.
