i think i found my track wheels...what rubber?

i think i found my track wheels...what rubber?

i have narrowed it down to enkei rpf1 17x8 +35 offset and 17x9 +35 offset for the rears. 14.5 and 15.0 lbs a piece boyeeeeeee what rubber do you recommend for road course and autox for these babies. falken azenis 615????? kvn

If you want to run some good tire width, yes.

The Falken 615 tire would be a good tire to start out with. Another decent tire is the Victoracer.

get the 18x9.5's +45mm with 285/30/18 all around if its a track only setup and if you have coilovers (i think they are needed up front for clearance).
615's are great street tire.
v700's are obviously better on the track since they are R compounds.
v710 and hoosier even better for track only.
nitto NT-01 is supposedly nice R compound with good street life; same for toya RA1.

i have tein ha coilovers so i hope this set up works. when you are on r compound tires and drive to the track, what happens when it rains. is the traction really bad. what about when you are on the road course and it rains? thanks. kvn
