i need some help

ihave just got my rims for my 91 t2. thay are pretty.i had told the guy that i had a 91 t2 and i wonted to go a little wider in the rear than the front. he had said to go with a 17-7 on front and a 17-8 on rear.the problem with them it seems to me is the offset, on the front i have 17x7+42. on the rear i have a 17x8+45. is this the correct offset for this combo? thanks for any help

why not go wider than that... 17x8F 17x9R offset in mid 30s. It's been a while since I owned an FC so my memory is a bit hazy on the exact fitment... so someone else can chime in on that.
