I need help....custom order on custom size rims?

Okay, Alot of wheel manufacturers make wheels in a set standard size such as 17x7.5, 18x8 or 8.5... and so on. Now I'll admit that I am not going to spend $3,000+ on rims and tires right now. Not yet. I just want to get rid of the stockies and put something DECENT on there JUST for right now. But all the lower quality rim companies such as velox, ADR, etc only make rims in standard sizes. I would like to know (Rische) if it is possible to special order custom rim sizes from some of these lower quality wheel companies. I want to go more on the show side so I want to go with 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 or 10's in back. If anyone knows a company that will make rims in these sizes even for some extra $$$ please let me know. I also want a decent size lip on them as well. Something like 2" in front and 3" or so in back. And I would also have to ask the same question about tire companies as well. I would love a set of Kumho MX's in those sizes to fit my new wheels. Thanks in advance for all who reply.

Enkei performance and 5zigen make some decently sized and lightweight cheap rims. You are not going to get big lips and those sizes for cheap....

I mean you can get a set of Volks in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 for a little over $2k....

Proper tire sizes for those rims sizes would be 235/40 18 and 265/35 18.

Yeah you're right. I had no idea Volks were THAT cheap. I figured with the size rims I want that the rims would run me at least $3k. I guess I should go ahead and just buy an expensive set of rims now instead of later down the road. The only problem with enkei and 5zigen is I don't like any of the rims they make. But thanks so much for your help.

Automotive R&D in San Jose is an excellent wheel dealer. Email Rishie there at autornd@hotmail.com

They are experts in rx-7 fitments and have very good prices.
