I am thinking of buying 19 in wheels, what size of tires can I use for them???
I am thinking of buying 19in Blitz wheels. 19x8 in the front and 19x10 in the back.
1. What size tires are good for this setup?
2. Will it fit?
3. What is rolling out fenders?
I have stock springs, so I am not slammed to the ground.
Any help would be great!!!
Thanks!
James

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
dont get 19s....here is why.
A. even the tires with the lowest profile made for 19's are too tall compared to stock.
B. REALLY heavy. enough to see a HUGE difference in performance.
C. stock brakes will look really ***** begind 19s.
D. 18s are big enough.

I have 18s now and hitting 2nds is a joke and hitting 3rds is not a problem
I'm hoping 19s will help that problem and look way better than 18s
Also I already have an upgraded brake system with cross drilled rotors

wouldn't the suspension components be as critical? that's alot of weight no matter how you look at it (no pun intended). I just went back to the stockers from 18s.
what I noticed immediately:
- faster steering / transitions
- more noise from rear suspension :-/
- car feels zippier acceleration-wise

Well I would like to buy 19's. You cannot tell me they do not look tight on a FD?
But, the performance aspect I did not think about.
See the Blitz Technospeed wheels are 25lbs. a pop. I have seen some 18 in. wheels weigh more. Unless I decide to go Volk, which they are alot lighter, only because they are forged.
But, What about suspension? You think coilovers would be the next step if I go 19 in.?
What about traction and grip? I thought with bigger wheels you would gain that benefit?
