How to Search for FD wheels at Tire Rack?

As most everyone knows, the wheel search function at Tire Rack is lame.

What car should I tell the search engine I have if I am trying to find 18x9.5 +45 wheels?

I've searched for it, but couldn't find anything useful.

I know for an FC you can search for the previous gen Mustang.

...

Just did a search on 2010 Mustang GT, and that comes fairly close, 18x9.5 +42

My FD currently has 18x9.5 +38 on it - the +42 would be a slightly better fit.

Any suggestions other than search on a 2010 Mustang GT?

I purposely don't search Tirerack for wheels because I can't create search criteria similar to what you want to do. What I would do is use other sites to find out what size/offset combinations are available for wheels that Tirerack sells. Then call Tirerack on the phone once you have found what you want and place the order for the exact size/offset combination you need.

Yup, or you can call the 'Rack and have a discussion with them about your application. They'll look them up for you. Their site is built for the average consumer who would get themselves screwed up doing their own offset calculations.

Thanks, I have called them before.

Sometimes I want to browse what's available, and make comparisons, look for prices.

When you call, results do depend on who you get on the phone, at least in my experience.

BTW, 2010 Mustang GT does seem to pull the sizes I am interested in.
