There is a company in Japan that sells a kit, it includes the rotors and adapters to use as they say 17 inch rotors, which means you need a 17inch wheel for them to work. Its a lot cheaper then from Mazda and its also an upgrade from it

you mean 13 in rotors right ? There is no way a 17 in rotor will fit 17 in wheels. Hell, even race cars only use 14" or 15" rotors.

Damn why do I have to go threw this every time.

17 inch rotors ******* MEANS, you need 17 inch wheels to run them, so they would be 13.5 or 14 inch
rotors!

DAMN! use your brain!

Easy there SpiritR - when the rest of the free world says 17 inch rotors, they mean a 17 inch diameter rotor (not that I even know any manufacturer who makes this size - maybe for semi's?). Any size rotor between 0 and ~14 can fit in a 17 inch wheel, so describing a rotor by the dimensions of the wheel it fits in is not practical nor does it tell you anything about the rotor. When picking rotors what you really need to know is not only their diameter, but their thickness, vented v. non-vented, blanks vs. drilled vs. slotted, and 1 vs. 2 piece (plus other minor stuff).

Rotogod - Do a search for SleepR1's thread on the conversion to 99 spec brakes - he attached a pricelist of all the necessary parts from the old Mazda Motorsports. If you are not a registered racer with them, you can probably get the necessary parts for around the same price from the RX7 Store, CorkSport.com, JT-Imports, etc.... I think the whole Type RS/RZ setup was about $1600.

BIOT is the name of the company. Im working on getting the webpage. I was talking to JT about them, he is collecting info.

Coulthard Fan---Fair enough, but come on man a 17inch rotor? That would be one **** of a wheel haha

I would be extremely suprised if that is true. Never seen anyone even begin to approach the pricing I get through Mazda Motorsports.
