how do these guys do this...ebay

if you do a search on ebay for 17" rx7 wheels. you get a bunch. some even look decent. but they say something to the effect, +20 fron +25 rear. but from the searching ive done here. it seems that someone needs at least a +35-38 to fit on a rx7 with out rubbing the fenders. how can these guys advertise these that they fit on a 7? i have a fd btw if it matters.

because those do fit...
if they arent very wide, they will fit FD's (with skinny tires)
they will also fit FC's

Yes, as pointed out the term "RX7" covers 3 generations. The FC's use lower offsets than the FD so you'll need to add something like "FD3S" or the model year to get good results.
