How can I restore my alloy wheels?

I have a spare set of stock aluminium wheels which have seen better days, particualrly around the edge. Is there a way to restore these wheels that will be less than buying new replacements?

there are places here in texas such as tonies in houston that do rim repairs you may need to look some up in your area.

tonies does everything from pollishing wheels to welding cracked and mending bent rims
