Help this wheel sizing newb.

From the research I have done, it appears to have an 10-11 inch wide rim one would need a +43 offset(first off, I have NO idea what that means).

To fill you in, my car is at a bodyshop now getting repainted and getting aftermarket rear fenders put on(+20 mm wider). I am in the process of getting everything together for my 3-rotor project. I know I will need some wide tires in the rear(I hope so anyways). Nevertheless, the rims in question that I want are Volk Racing GT-7's I am looking at an eleven inch rim. However, the offset's only say +28-+32.

Question one. Can an eleven inch rim fit out back evenwith +20 mm wider fenders?

Question two. Because I am going with wider fenders, does the offset still have to be +43ish?

Thanks in advance.

pm ARD T2 if you need the correct size. offset is what brings the barrell in toward the car (higher) or stiicks out (lower). with a 20mm flare you would want a lower offset.

18x10 +50 fits FDs out back with a 285/30R18 tire under stock fenders with a rolled lip.

you are adding 20mm width to the outside of the wheel well, so you can almost fit a 11" wheel in there as long as you keep to a 305 or 295 tire. to fit the 11" wheel in there you would want an offset around +35. I think tirerack has some info on how to understand offset if its all crazytalk to you.

I dont think a 315 will fit unless you put it on a 10.5 to keep it from buldging super wide, if that makes any sense, but you can probably fit a 315 on a 18x10.5 in an offset of +43 to+35 if you can find any.
