Question Help please" best size tires/ rims-fd-

Can anyone tell me my closest to oem size. I have a pettit sport comp suspention which loweres my fd 1-1/4 in" I want 18" rimes. what size tires and rim size front back 'offset"? thanks

225/40-18 on 8 x 18s will be your closes OEM sizes. IMO you should get wider wheels and tires--do 255/35-18s on 9 x 18 with 45-mm offsets all the way around. I have a similar set up only with 255/40-17s with 9 x 17s, 45 mm offsets, and have no rubbing problems with H&R Sport Springs (1.25 inch drop).

265 max on a 9-inch wide, but you should stay with 255s...better support provided by the wheel rim...!

You get more tire options (and better ride, performance, and less chance of wheel damage) with 17" wheels, if that option meets your other needs and desires.

Yeah, definitely agree that 17-inch wheels are the way to go for road use
