Help with Gram Light Pro size

I plan on getting a set of gram light pros for my 94 fd. I don't plan on lowering the car as I will be drag racing it later on down the road; but i'll probably be running hks drag coilovers.

What is the biggest I can go in the rear and in the front w/o having to roll the fenders?

What offset would work w/o fender rolling? I'd like the biggest lip possible for the rear?

Thanx

umm did you read the sticky or do a search?

Which Gram lights? 57s-pro? 57pro? or 57f-pro?

Try these links first to see if you can figure it out.

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html
that's Ray's website. Click on the english version. Then click on the rims you want and then click on the size/price tab to see the available sizes.

Jimlabs link with an excel file that has all the fitment calculations in it with info for max wheel size, offset, etc. If you don't know what those mean there are plenty of threads with that info if you do a search.

Here is a quick search for 57pro's and someone with them mounted

I'm not sure what drag racing has to do with it, but I wouldn't run those wheels for dragging. A cheap and good solution is to mount some M/Ts on stock wheels at the back for drag days, and run whatever aftermarket wheels you want for street use.

I'm not going to use them for drag racing. I will be using my stockers for that with the mt drag radial in the rear. The Gram lights will be on except when I'm at the track.

I've seen good things personally from the BF-goodrich g-force sport, so I will probably be runnign them.

245/40 in the front and 275/35 in the rear. According to their website, the 245/40 is 25.7 in diameter whereas the 275/35 is 25.8 in diameter. From looking at the stock 245/50/16, they are around 24.9 in diameter. Will the extra <1 inch require the fenders to be rolled?

The stock tires are 225/50 16, which is ~24.9 inches. If you are talking about running 18" wheels, then proper tire diameter sizes would be 225/40, 235/40, 245/35, 255/35, 265/35, 285/30. Quite a few people do run 275/35 18 at the rear but that is more of a diameter change than I find acceptable.

Rubbing depends on offsets and ride height more than tire size, as long as the above sizes are used. Please see the links 7racer provided.

I have 57 pro's 18x9 45 offset with 255/35/18 and 18x10 50 offset with 275/35/18 and they fit perfect. Don't rub at all, even with the car lowered with no gap. But those are custom offsets, talk to rishie at www.autornd.com about them. Here is a link to some pics of my car.

Fox, I don't know where you got your offsets from but their website does not mention the offsets that you have mentioned. Or I am I just missing something?

He already stated those were custom offsets.
