Help with custom wheels (Desmond Koenig)

Hi
I am in the process of building a new set of rims for my car.
Currently I am using a set of 17x8 ET35 wheels with 245/40-17 tires. In the front the fitment is pretty good, but in the rear there are some free space, tho I am not sure how much in practical terms since I have not rolled the fenders. I have attacehd pictures.
I purchased a set of Desmond Koenig 17” 3-piece wheels that I want to use as the base for a build. They are also 17x8 ET35 as they sit now. From what I can tell, the lip on them are 1.5 inches from factory. Given that this is the same size as my current wheels I’m assuming that a 1.5” inch lip is pretty safe both front and rear, and in the front it’s pretty much perfect.

I wanted to take the Desmond Koenig 17” faces and use step-up lips to 18”.
I will be running Öhlins FP coilovers, slightly lowered, with stock fenders. I could roll them if required, but prefer not to at the moment since the car is a mint low milage specimen, and I don’t want cracked paint in the wheel arches.

Referencing the sticky spreadsheet in this section, the recommendations for a stock car is: Front: 18x8.5 ET38 and Rear: 18x9.5 ET 38.
My calculations put me at Front: 18x8.5 ET41 and Rear: 18x9.5 ET 41. Looking at the specs I think this will be safe with 3mm more clearance compared to recommendations in both cases. This means the rears will be 12.7mm further out than the current wheel setup.

For tires I will run the recommended 245/35-18 and 265/30-18.

What do you guys think? Will this fit? Anything i should change? My goal is a nice period correct 3-piece rim with some modern touches.

Pictures of the rims, and some measurements:
