Hello! I am from Sweden..What´s a Spreewell?

I just had to ask because they say you shouldn´t ask where to buy them.

So...what is a Spreewell?

I think Spreewells are huge 25-inch SUV wheels with spinners on them? They're usually chrome finished, and weight 50 lbs each.

Someone should post a pic of a Spreewell LOL

It's a joke. "Spreewells" are those horrible wheels with the extra face mounted on a ball bearing. Also referred to as "spinners".

It's ok, Martin. We forgive you. I doubt there are any Landrovers rolling on Spreewells in Sweden. Maybe you could be the first LOL

A "Sprewell" is also a choke hold you do on your coach.

Here's a website for these kind of wheels. BTW, they cost up to $3K apiece!

Now, I thought they were cool back when I saw them for the first time on a slk mercedes...If anyone remembers the first time they saw spinning rims you know you were thinking what the hell. BEst **** ever though is the pepboys plastic hubcap spinners. As soon as I get a daily beater thats going to be my first "mod."

As much as people mock those wheels,...I know the guy who created them. Needless to say, he is laughing all the way to the bank.

And as much as I respect the spreewells (not that I would buy them though),...I hate the PepBoys knockoffs. Ugh.
