Hawk pads question

I would like to order a set of Hawk pads for my husband for christmas, but I'm not sure which ones I need. On the website it shows "regular" suspension and "hard" suspension. How can I tell which ones he needs? He ownes an '87 TII.
Thanks!

If you want to get him a present, get him some Bonez pads:

Hawks are just plain old technology, not to mention they dust like crazy.

Try Hawk HPS

^ Tire Rack has them

Not sure what web site you are looking on, but the TII is probably the hard suspension. Make sure you are looking at the Turbo II setup. Hard and soft suspensions are generally only referred to when talking about the non-turbo RX7s of that model year.

Below is where I was checking. I was able to compare part numbers with both sites. Thanks for the help! I will get them ordered first thing tomorrow morning.

They dust less, don't squeal, dust doesn't eat rim finish... For a street car, those are all pluses. However, there are better performance pads than either of those like the Carbotech's and many others.
