Has anyone used Nexen tires before

Hey all,


looking at new cheap tires. has anyone used nexen at all? if you have lemme know good and bad and if they are even worth it.

I wouldn't chance it. My sister's ex had some Chineese crap tires on his car and they were terrible.

If you want cheap, good tires that perform reasonably well then the Kumho SPT's are good. If you need an all-season then one of their all seasons is a good bet. The Falken 512's are a popular high performing all season as well, but they'll not be very good in snow.

How cheap are you looking to go? I found Toyo Proxes 4's online for like 75 bucks a tire, which is a steal because they are kick *** tires. I've gotten 42,000 miles out of a set, and might even hit 50. They have great grip, and don't make any noise. I hate noisey tires.

my buddy got some on his car and they seem to do alright...not noisy have pretty good grip but we'll see how long they last and how well they do in slick conditions

They're okay for any normal daily driving. Tried them at a track day. They chunk, offer no grip, and plain suck... on the track at least.
