H&R Coilovers?

My friends at H&R have indicated to me that they have already produced, or are very close to producing an adjustable coilover (springs adjustable only, not shock). If that's true, it should be ready for sale soon.

Being that both my local autocross club, and my CRX are sponsored by H&R, I would very much like to put these coilovers on my car, and have just been waiting for them to make a kit..

I just thought you all might want to know about it in case you're in the market.

awesome. so will it be like a "conversion", similar to M2 and Ground Control?? or will it be an entire coilover (ala Mazdaspeed, TEIN, etc...)???

it would be the entire coilover.

I asked the reasoning behind making the shocks non adjustable. I got an answer along the lines of "If the shock is properly set, from the factory, there would be no need to adjust, and the problem with adjustable shocks on the market now, is that the compression and rebound are not seperately adjustable, but they should be.." I presented him with the fact that some drivers may like a car a little looser, or more understeer/oversteer, and that many may have altered the stock weight distribution by more than a few pounds. But we'll see how it ends up. I'll still get a set, just because I'll be hooked up with a deal..

If you adjust the springs without adjusting the damping, the adjustments are worthless. The two pieces work together, not independantly of each other.
