I'm running stock GTUs wheels, I understand they are 'nice' construction but kinda ugly. They have what remains on the factory paint on the inside of the mesh.

I'm looking to maybe upgrade if it's worth it. Options:
1) Polish stock wheels for better eye-candy. Any idea how much these things weigh?
2) Replace with new wheels, lightest I could find easily. Looks like Motegi are around 15lbs in 16", Kosei are 15lbs in 17" according to Tire Rack.

Use is weekend toy and auto-x events. I would lean towards new wheels if they are substantially lighter than stock (say at least 5lbs). I do plan to keep same overal diameter, maybe go up slightly in width.
