Ground Control Full Kit FC?
Anyone have experience with these coilover? Wanted to know about track experience with these, how they compare to other coilovers like fortune auto 510(which are the same price), and wheel clearance issues (their own custom front strut housing looks a little iffy when it comes to running wider rims). Thanks!

I've known a few people with them
Their strut ears are pretty short which limits inside wheel clearance, but they use koni dampers which are going to be better than fortunes.
if you do get them go with the 8610 race damper upgrade for the front, they're better konis than the sports.
I've never driven on fortunes, but from what I've seen they're not as good as most people make them out to be, but they're decent and better than most other crap coilovers you can buy.
another thing to mention is the ground control camber plates have caster adjustment, and fortunes don't.
you might be able to ask GC if they can make the strut ears a bit longer...

If you can get the GC kit with Konis valved for the spring rates you want, do it. It will be more than a Fortune 510 setup but I am pretty certain it will be better.
I have the Fortune 510s, and I have been very happy with them. For the price, I think they are great to get something decent with the spring rates you need. They also offer the most tire clearance of any coilover I have seen. The bang for the buck is great. I have had mine apart, the 510s use all quality components and hardware.
If you are looking to spend $1600, get the Fortunes over a standard GC Koni setup. If you are looking to spend more I would do what Eage8 suggested and do 8610 dampers.

So I got back from Trevor at ground control and he said he cant even extend the ears at all, but I think I can find someone locally that will do it. And about the 8610, they dont come with lifetime warranty but the special purpose Ground Control koni's do, BUT he said he can do an upgrade to the 8610 at no extra cost... So my question is, which one should I go with? 8610 upgrade or lifetime warranty for the special purpose ground control koni's. How often do 8610's blow? My car wont see too much track time and will mainly be a weekend car.
