Ground Control compatibility question

Today I was at a local pick-n-pull yard (not sayin' where ) and spotted a set of Ground Control threaded tubes/springs on an MX-3. Would this be compatible to go onto an '89 FC? If not, what else if anything else? I'm just wondering if they'd be worth my time to snag. TIA.

I'm really doubting it. Unless the struts that fit on an MX-3 are the same width, and heighth, and have the same amount of travel as an FC's.

Ehhh, I figured it'd be a stretch. I still figure it's worth pulling to slap them on Ebay anyway. Thanks.
