Question Got a flat....tire recommendations? '88 FC Vert

I lurk on the boards a lot and have tried searching for this topic, but the tire recommendation threads I found all date back at least a year so I figured it was reasonable to start a new thread to ask for folks' current recommendations. Got a flat at right about the worst time--discovered it last Sunday (July 30) when I went to move the RX-7 into the garage for storage while I'm out of town handling a patent infringement trial. There's a screw through the thread and it appears that it had been flat for a few days, had to jack it up just to inflate the darn thing enough to pull it around the block; bottom line, I'm sure I'll have to replace the tire and am seeking recommendations on what folks here recommend. I have Pirelli PZeroNero M&S's on my other car (an Acura TL) and am quite happy with those, but I don't know that that level of expense is warranted on the FC because I don't drive it much more than 3,500 miles per year (mainly for insurance reasons; also weather-related--when it's 100 degrees out, I want the stronger AC in the Acura! Hence why I didn't discover the flat sooner). Summer tires are not a practical option because I don't have a good place to store them during the winter.

I've heard some good things about Kumho Ecstas and the price sounds more than reasonable (TireVan has them for $66 each and they come to your house to install them). What other recommendations might people have? I'm figuring to do something about it at the end of August, once this trial is over, so thank you in advance.

(Damn frustrating, too......got a flat in the Acura over the July 4 weekend. Bad summer for tires in my house!)

I like the Yokohama ES 100 myself. Good grip, affordable and lasts about 30,000 miles. Do not use them in snow though.
