Got the Bling Bling mounted....

I got them on... I had to do all of my tires by hand because my friends mounting machine would not accept 17's... oh and they are reverse mount... making things worse... took like an hour and 1/2. I'll post pics in a few... I like'em alot ... they are wrapped w/ 245/40 -17's Yokahama Avs Es100

By hand means... using prybars on the back side (reverse mount) of the rim while pushing the tire down onto the rim... there fore not using any machine to get the bead around the inside of the rim... make sense?
-Ryker
P.S. Yes those tires are much better that my previous bald ones... All I have left to do is the front lower control arm bushings and get some springs that will bring the car a little bit lower...

Who is the guy that came out to the Gotham party with the mongoloid spoke rims that we were teasing him? Each spoke was about 5 inches wide. He wants to upgrade them REALLY bad.

I took a picture of them. I will post it so everybody knows what wheels not to put on their FD! Or any car for that matter!!! Haha! That was pretty fun razzing his *** over them. He is a great sport about it.
He only paid about 10K for that car a few years back.

well yes, once we get past the wheels he needs to do a manual conversion.
Maybe he should haul it up to the car lot in N.Dallas/ Plano(?) that the people here talk about that sells a lot of 3rd gens and see about a trade in on one with a "real" tranny in it.

BTW the new wheels are fugg'n nice dude! They really compliment those rotors very well.
Ugly wheel guy needs to work a deal on your old wheels maybe?

Maybe we should have a fund for underpriviledged FD owners who are lacking in the "Bling Bling" depatment.
For just 83 cents a day you could sponsor some poor SOB with an auto tranny and butt *** ugly wheels.
How would you feel knowing that if your car broke down that you could possibly come back and your car is gone but the wheels are still there? Yea, that **** ain't funny now is it?
So please for the sake of this little ghetto boy, support the FD Bling Bling Fund.
Sincerely, Scalli

Hey now guys just bc I got the big bling bling wheels means no need for dissin now lol. I like scallis idea of helping out a poor guy like me that needs some new rims. I mean donations will gladly be acepted by me to help suport the non dissin of my wheels that is always going on with eric. Maybe I should just try and get steve or some one like that drunk and like convince him to trade while hes not sure of waht hes saing lol. Oh and pluss I dont think the dude at wendies can aford my rims haha.

The outer lip is comparable to the stockers... all polished till where the spoke mounts... I was surprised w/ these since I assumed that the flat surface of the lip mounted to the spoke within about 2 1/2 inches... but it acutally mounts near the center of the wheel (like 4 1/2")... I'm happy... I now have given myself the need for some springs and some caliper paint... need to do the motor mount first though... damn I just can't stop fixing ****... rotaholic I guess...

I'm going to OK city tomorrow I'll snap a pic of where the tornado crossed the highway if I can...
