good offset for rims??

ON good offset for rims??

Im trying to figure out what a good offset for rims are. i want them flush, my fenders are rolled but i never bought rims for the car before. so i need to know a good offset for them. anyone?

The proper offset depends on the width.

just wondering a good offset if anyone knows. dosent matter width. like put width and offset. i just want to get a general idea what works for you guys. sorry i wasent really clear on it. like 8.5 wide +35 offset something like that.

width matters! pick a width, and then the ideal offset will be determined based off of that

offset =/= backspacing..

yah i know this, but what is a nice width and offset that fits nice on a fd?
something that will be flush and look nice. if i knew i wouldent ask.

be flush and look nice to who? the older, mature, nothing below +45 offset with alot of meat on the tire guys or the single digit offset, deep dish, stretched tire aggressive fitment drifter guys whos probably looking through the 7club forum and tube8 at the same time. which one are you?

For refrence, here's a pic of my old FC. Wheels are 17x8 and 9, both +35. Fenders are stock & unrolled.

In all honesty you should indicate things like:

1. Purpose of vehicle, street only, autox, roadrace, canyon racer, etc....
2. Show us a style of wheel you like
3. Tell us your USD Budget for WHEELS ONLY

This will isolate a particular fitment that would work with the car and meet your criteria.

Honestly we can list a plethora of fitments but won't help isolate a wheel that will work for your needs. Lets start with your performance and style needs. From there we can determine a conducive fitment.
