Gewalt Evolution 3pc rims?

Anyone have anything to say +or - about these rims? Any numbers on weight for a 17" rim.

I assume you are referring to the mesh Gewalts for an FD fitment?

They are nice looking wheels with a fat polished rim lip. The fitments I've seen for an FD are 8.5 and 9.5 x 17 with 40-mm front and 44-mm rear, using 235/45-17 tires front and 265/40-17 rears.

Weights for mounted/inflated wheel/tire combo range between 43 and 45 lbs, which is reasonably light given the tire and wheel sizes.

Well, I am specifically interested for an FC, but I generally know what will work in the way of a 17 on these... I was curious as to the quality of the brand and the weight, which you answered.

I just can't decided for sure if I want 17's or 18's on my car, hence the other thread I started.

Stay with 17s. They're just right in with regard to balance between weight and looks. 18s will slow your car down...

Thanks, that's what I leaning toward. I just keep finding killer deals on 18's which is what's temping me. I'll resist...
