Don't do it man, not on a T2 especially the ann. edition. For proper appearance you'll need like a 35mm offset, but you should really spend the extra time or money to get 8" wheels all the way around w/ 38 - 40mm offset. Then you can run a 225/45 all around and it will look right. On the 7" width the 225 will definitely have a somewhat of a balloon appearance or straight up if anything. Really depends on what tire you use. P7000 vs AVS sport, has huge difference in sidewall "straigtness".

You have the opportunity to stagger your **** phattly. I mean 8's up front and 9.5's or 9's in the rear. Running a 225/45 and 255/40. If you want to get a good wheel for cheap and stagger I'm sure I can work something out for you. Functionality will always take precedence over aesthetics for me and that's why I have found a few wheels that have it all. Lightweight, simple styling, max fitment, and cheap. Check out the RPO1 enkei. Sort of like the SSR Integral. Very light cast wheel. If you need it to be unique, we will powdercoat the wheel for you in some basic colors like white, black, greyish silver, and any other primary colors.

If you want the best price on the net and want to help out the forum, just ask me. I will hook you up.

Thanks, Rishie

Rishie,

Thanks for your help... I been trying to find out what the Enkei RP01s look like but wasn't able to.... It would be great if you can send me a pic, or direct me to a pic on the web... Also, are there any other wheels you can offer? Now, what would the price look like wid 17x8s front and 17x9s in the back wid Nitto 225s in the front and 245s in the back? I'd love to help out the forum... At the moment, I have 205s front, 225 back on stock 16s... I was planning to order the konigs from discount tires tom, but I'll wait for your response... I'd like to have the wheels on before I go back to school which is week and a half away....Once again, thanks...

Eddie

Unhappy

My experience w/ Nittos is they aren't that good I have 205mm Pirelli P7s that stick much better than my 245mm Nitto 450s did and are much more quiet and have more progressive loss of traction; of course they will last about half as long, but that is the price to pay for performance. I have heard the Nitto 555 is much better, but I think Nitto is just hyped in the import market and thats why they are popular. Get a tire that reflects your long list of mods!

It all comes down to money and functionality. That is why I reccommend going with a good, max fitment wheel. But NT555's are not bad at all for the price. If streeting they are great, if not, just buy a set of streetable NT555R's in the rear, for dragging. You'll be fine.

Competition is always good for business and that's why you'll be seeing a lot more out of other "non-namebrand" companies like KUMHO and NITTO.

If you got the dough, get some Toyo's or Yok's, but they'll last half the time and cost at least 50% more. I know I can't afford to buy tires every year if they're over a "G" everytime.

But BLUE has a point, if you got the ****, why cut corners now. The final step. Honestly, people will size up your car by the tires you wear. I do it all the time. But I am only here to help. Except I don't think to myself, "This guy is cheap," I just know he made an economical decision and considering I use them, I know I am not cheap, well kinda, cheap prices. hehe.

I use NITTOS, KUMHOS, YOK's, or Pirelli's, on all five of my vehicles.

Thanks, Rishie
