Well, I'm going to end up replacing at least one upper mount, as it's stuck to my old shell and I can't remove the strut.

So what I'm looking at is:
Koni yellow adjustable shocks
Tein S-tech springs
Mazda parts:
34-110
34-003
28-012A
34-034 (No.1)
28-380
28-123
34-120
34-711

I can't read the other part numbers, but they're all the parts that aren't the shock and spring on the 93 parts fiche.

I figure I might as well go ahead and replace the OEM parts on all 4 corners.

Okay, finally looking at getting the koni yellow adjustable shocks and the tein s-techs, as I posted in the last post.

What I'm wondering is...what would be the cheapest way to get the top mount parts? Is there any decent aftermarket replacement for them? I'm figuring that, like everything else for the FD, OEM is ridiculously expensive...

Malloy Mazda for OEM parts....the upper spring mounts are only like $60 each....

Is that just the mounting piece or all the pieces together?

I'm asking because I'll need the dust boot things, which I'm not sure if they come with the struts or not.

The upper spring mount and the dust boots are one integrated piece.

So all I need to order is two top mounts for the fronts, and two top mounts for the back, set of 4 struts, and set of 4 springs?

I'll be able to pull bolts and such off the old struts, I'm only referring to stuff that wears out and gets raggedy over the 12-odd years this car has seen.

For the back, there's four parts that I see that I would need replacements of:

1. 28-111B (Stopper, bump)
As discussed above.

2. 28-012A (Sheet, rubber)
This mounts the spring to the strut. I'm not sure if this would come with the struts/springs or not, but being as it's rubber, I figure it should be replaced.

3. 28-380 (Rubber, mounting)
Another rubber piece. Same reason as above.

4. 34-003 (Sheet, frt damper)
Not sure as to what this is made out of, but it doesn't look to be metal. I might be wrong though.

(These are p/ns from a 93, if that changes anything)

5. 34-120 (Stopper)
This is definitely rubber, but they don't look too fatigued from what I remember.

That's also back suspension.

Matching P/Ns for the front:
1. 34-110 (Stopper, bound)
2. 28-012A (Sheet, rubber)
3. 28-380 (Rubber, mounting)
4. 34-003 (Sheet, frt damper)
5. 34-120 (Stopper)

The only different one is the first one.

I guess what I'm asking is...do all of those parts need to be replaced? Their counterparts on the car appear to be the original factory pieces. If I remember right, all the rubber pieces are deteriorated pretty bad.

Yes, all of those pieces should almost certainly be replaced...however, yours may still be in functional condition. The boots on mine were all torn-up a little anyway, so I replaced all of mine.

I don't know why you keep thinking any of these parts would come with either aftermarket springs or shocks.....they are OEM pieces that have nothing to do with the actual spring or shock! (per se)

All you get in a box of aftermarket stuff is the springs or shocks and a generic set of basic instructions.

Combination of hoping for it to be cheaper than it will be, and not knowing what I'm doing
