Fuzion ZRi vs. g-Force Sport

Comparing just the tires themselves, which is a better tire?

From Tire Rack's tests, they appear to have similar abilities and pricing. Probably a toss-up for street driving.

I got a set of Fuzion ZRi late last year. They are good in dry, rain, autocross, drift, etc. Then I bought another set, and one of them blew within 30 miles, and another lost pressure within that same 30miles. Basically was leaving from tire shop to an event.
I guess there are some defects in manufacturing which I am so unlucky to get a couple.

TIRE RACK would not warranty them since I didn't buy their road hazard. Mind you, nothing get on the tire to cause them to blow. no nails, no leak, nothing. So much for customer service from Tire Rack.

Bridgestone/Firestone HQ called, and they point me to Firestone/Bridgestone shops, but no store manager wants to help. They all afraid.

So far I am stuck with two useless tires. Gone my $200.

They are good tires for the price, but just be careful in the first few miles. Always check pressure.

Reza,

how about the manufacture? Will they warranty those two defects?

No, because when I call Bridgestone/Firestone who manufacture it, they advise me to go to the local shops to file claim, but none of the manager wants to help out.

actully bridgestone/firestone do not make them, they are just the dealers. It is an bought in brand, brough into the stores to compete in the tuner market. And for all the stores you tried, thats complete bullshit, you come to my store in Grand Rapids, MI and we wil take care of our tuners. Sorry you got stuck with the shitty stored bro. Best of luck

Well duh! I don't think I will go to your store if you don't know the facts.

It is made by Bridgestone/Firestone. Its on their corporate website.
It also feature their Uni-TQ thing.

BFNT develops, manufactures, and markets Bridgestone, Firestone, Fuzion and associate and private brand tires. The company is focused on wholesale and original equipment markets, supplying passenger, light truck, commercial vehicle, off-road, motorcycle, agricultural and other tires to its customers in North America."

hmm... If Bridgestone doesnt care where you bought them and where you return them, Island Tires in Pasadena, CA would help you out. A bit of a drive for you though.

I purchased a pair of fuzzion zri tires and love them. I bought them because i couldnt take my bfg drag radials out for a 1600 mile road trip to the rotary revolution. They held up great, and they had good traction characteristics, even with my T78 turbo. I would definately buy these tires again. OH, they held up real well in the snow we got stuck driving through on the way home from the revolution.

Would you rather the ECM have a GE logo? Mitsubishi is one of the worlds biggest electronics company which supplies parts to alot of different manufacturers. It would cost Ford tons of money to build an ECM from scratch. Its much easier/faster to buy from Mitsubishi than to build their own.

A heads up, too: The fuzion ZRi's run uber narrow. You should get a 235 to fit a 205 wheel, just FYI

they arent the same price as the toyos. the toyos run 30-40 dollars a tire more expensive. I picked my 245-45-16 zri tires up for 74 dollars each a few months ago. I had only purchased these tires because they were cheap and i needed a tire to drive 1600 miles on to go to the Rotary Revolution and my BFG drag radials werent going to cut it. These tires held up surprisingly well, and handled the turns and the power of my t78 quite well too. I definately recommend these tires for people with a budget who dont need every last bit of performance out of their tire.
