Funny Brake Feel

Just something that has been bothering me as of late:

When I brake my car seems to be "jumping" and "rowing" like i can feel every revolution of the wheel as the car comes to a stop. I don't have any reduced braking pressure or "feel" but its just not smooth like it should be. Is it time for new rotors and pads?

As well, I have a rear end clunk..that i've searched, and posted in another thread.. so i'm guessing i'll need to replace toe links, bushings, and pillowballs.

thx in advance.

hey pete ...its time for new rotors...the rowing feeling that you get when you are braking is the feeling of warped rotors....oh and when you put new rotors on be sure to put new pads on with them otherwise its hard to break them in properly without new pads...and the rear end clunk well i think you are on the right track to fixing that...take it easy bro and peace out

Pete, that sig image is way too big. You need to shrink it down.

Yes, it's your rotors. I just had my front rotors changed out recently and had the same exact symptoms as you mentioned (rowing feeling at low speed braking, some fast shuddering at high speed braking). If you have enough material to turn the rotors, do so.

yah i'll shrink it.. didn't realize its that big.. i rarely include my sig.. lol

as for the rest.. i think i might have done some minimal warping during an autox.. cuz well the previous owner in all his wisdom must have used autozone pads or something... so eventually ill get around to some nice brembos and some hawk pads..

Thanks a bunch.. just verifying what i thought.
