I scored a free set of slightly used Michilen Pilot Sport A/S's in 235/50R18 (front) and 255/45R18 (rear) today. I've been looking into getting new wheels and tires and was considering 18's anyway (I know they're heavier than 17s, I dont care). I was wondering what I'd have to do to get these to fit? The rear would probably fit no problem, but I'd expect to need to roll the front fenders a bit, and probably use a small spacer on most 18x8 wheels to get the offset right. Does that sound about right? Thanks.

That tire is going to be way to tall for the front. Same deal with the rears too. Those tires will make your FC look like a 4x4 truck! Dont do it.

Cause 18's look better than 17s if done properly. I'm tired of having a "quick" car that looks only average. I want a fast car that looks awesome. The fast part is already taken care of. I have a plan for next summer to take care of that. Now I'm trying to descide how to go about making my car look original, classy, sporty, and tasteful. 17s only look average to me. A set of 18x9's with a deep polished lip and front fender flares, running 255/35-18's on all four corners is more what I'm looking for. I could be like everyone else and run wider on the rear, but I'd like to keep the 50/50 traction the car is designed for. The tires above I'd like to try to use just to keep me rolling while I'm getting everything together.

Those tires sizes are WAY, WAY too tall.

The stock wheel+tire diameter is ~25". A 235/50 18 will be 27.25". That is an increase in diameter of over 2". Fitment issues aside, that will look really, really bad.

Just because something is free, doesn't mean it's worth it...

Put the tires up on ebay or something.
