Flexible Brake line in Engine bay - leak

This is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. There is a flexible brake line in the engine bay that doesn't seem to have any reason to be flexible. In either case, I removed the line and it is torn so it needs to be replaced.

Does anyone happen to know the part number for this line? It looks just like a standard brake line, but it doesn't attach to the wheel cyl., it is just a junction from near the master cyl, to another solid brake line beneath the vehicle.

It goes to feed fluid to your clutch master cylinder. The clutch Mcylinder bolts to the firewall.

It is for the clutch, but it is the hose between the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder. I have heard many reports of them leaking and breaking. You can get a replacement from Mazda or get a (hopefully) more durable SS braided replacement from Crooked Willow for less than $50.

Yep, Mazdatrix has SS replacements too. I've got one waiting to be installed. Check their website for pricing.
