Flat spot on tires

Hey I have a question for anyone that knows about tires.

I have a set of sport dunlop 4000's.

Last night I had to a panic brake. I braked from 70ish to 0 really fast. My ABS didn't do a good job and I started to skid. Before I remembered to pump the brakes I was already back in control.

Well anyway afterward I started having really bad thumping and vibration.

I took it to a tire shop and shore enough as soon as they got it on the machine both front tires had a flat part on the tread.

I pretty much need new tires, but I had an idea. It is probably stupid and I know I'm probably better off with new tires, but..

If I rotated them to the back and did a couple burnouts on them, heated them up does anyone with this kind of experience think it would work?

Please only informative replies only. I already know its a pretty stupid idea, I'm probably gonna get new tires anyway...

Thanks

I don't think you could make them round again with a burnout. The tire deforms under load, so it won't just shave off the high parts. But it might be fun to do some huge burnouts and send some pics to SCC since the tires are toast anyway.
