FD's: Anyone ever bend a 17" wheel?
Just curious. I've heard of 18" easily being bent but not so much about 17". I'm thinking of getting some RPM2's, but I drive over VERY rough roads and railroad tracks on a daily basis here in BFE NC so I'm a little hesitant.

If thats the case then I wouldnt upgrade the wheels. It all depends on who makes the wheel. You get what you pay for. Alot has to do with wieght of the wheel to. If ride over pot holes everday and have a set of wheels that weigh 12 lbs apiece then your going to bend them

The mesh style of the RPM2 and the construction being that it's a JDM Enkei tuning wheel should prove to be a great street wheel that is light weight. I have those wheels and have run over some **** and had no problems. Granted that is relative but in comparison to OZ's or BBS cast wheels, they will be stronger. I've bent so many BBS and OZ's it's ridiculous.

Thanks guys. I guess the lack of responses means not too many people have bent 17" rims. Or nobody gives a damn. It's a tough call for me because the suspension is alreay so stiff for down here - H&R springs, Bilstein HD's, toe & trailing links, and heim joint end links. Have to think about it some more. But yes Rishie, those RPM2's are a great buy between the looks, weight, and quality.
