and if you look at his pic...it looks like he cut the lip himself as the sheet metal now looks irregular.

it is for looks im not in denial. wide wheels simply look better but not everyone really needs freakin 265s and **** on their car. skinny wheels look stupid especially on cars like these, BUT before anyone says anything stretched tires do look good in the eyes of some people. high offsets look like complete crap to others. i think putting the absolute widest tire on a wheel looks like crap, ie 235/45 on an 8 inch wide wheel. sunken wheels too.
but it does not negatively affect performance! i have seen people use their stretched tires on the track and auto x and keep with everyone. and that tends to shut up most of the people anyway. it might not be the most functional by any means or even make sense i wont argue with that, but it still works.


on that note i put my rear 17x10+12s with 235s on the front and it fit with a roll, no rub. just for fun. i dont care i even get compliments from a lot of people on this forum. they always just pm though i guess so no one will make fun of them.
