Id vouch that the springs, shocks, tires (with proper inflation and amount of sidewall) and the driver matter a lot more than the type of suspension, especially when you have it stiffly sprung with stiff bushings *AND* its riding low.

The amount of suspension travel is not nearly as high as a stock level, now is it? The amount of movement the wheel would undergo is not nearly as much as a stock car that rides higher, has more movement, and softer shocks/springs/sidewalls/bushings. Obviously in that situation a suspension that cambers one way in compression and the other in rebound will impact the handling more than something that controls the amount of travel it has.

Ok, so in a race situation you obviously want at least a modicum of suspension travel, and as low as you can go without having the lack of travel necessitate TOO stiff springs (and then put down the aero kit real low blah blah blah) and make sure everything is aligned, everything is fresh as it can be and properly put in place, and maybe throw on a tie rod kit if someone lowered the car or moved the rack. Wouldnt the changes in toe and camber be almost... negligeable in that situation?

If this is my naivete then let me know, but I really dont see how such a small amount of camber one way or the other or toe change (given the very low amount of suspension travel) could have that much of an impact. OTOH, I have heard of older Z cars that go positive in the rear under hard braking and cause toe changes that make it squirrely as hell ... but coilovers fixed that a lot.

look it up

FD's are "the same" weight as FC's i'd say. it is plus or minus with different trims and either one could weigh more or less
