FD tire pressure/alignment for Michelin Pilot Sport Cups 285/30/18's

I have some shaved Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 285/30/18 tires mounted on 18x10.5" CCW's for the track on my FD. The front fenders are trimmed and the rears are rolled. Going to take it finally out to the track (Thunderhill 5/26) with NASA Road Race HPDE. Suspension has GAB 550/450# coilovers, JimLab bushings, M2 rear bars, TriPoint front adj bar, and big brakes.

For those that have run these tires what pressure cold are you setting them for and what pressure hot do you see after lapping?

I have a digital laser pyrometer I'd be using for optimal inflation but I would love to know a little info ahead of time.

What alignment settings do these like? I don't need something set on kill that will wipe these out after a day on the track.

Thanks,

Mark

Here's some general, non FD-specific info on that tire:

Personally, I would run a bit under 1.5 deg camber.

thank you for the link. I poked around on the TireRack website for a while. They have some pretty interesting links.

Stoptech.com has some great brake related info as well.

So I set the tires at 27psi cold (it was 85* outside and then went up to 100*) and after a medium lapping session they went up to about 35psi.

These tires kick *ss. Better than my RA-1's and truly after heating up they are the stick masters.

285/30/18's all the way around..... Zoooooooooooooooom

Sweet!

Hopefully, we'll run into each other (not literally!) at the track one of these days. I'd like to experience an LS-1 FD.
