Ordered a set of spare wheels because I needed the odd offset to clear by large calipers/fender. Having trouble finding a “skinny” tire that will fit a 16x4” rim that’s rated for speeds over 50.

 

I do not know of any donuts rated over 50 though interested in what you find.

Begs the question, why would you want to run the skinny donut at any speed above 50mph??

What is your reason for wanting to do that?

 

It's for drag setup... and I wouldn't run the "donut" tire. Very common to run skinny wheels with high speed tires up front in drag racing.

This was my old setup... With a 15x4" centerline "race" wheel. But I upgraded to FC 4 piston calipers and hub so my old wheels no longer fit. Neither did the standard "drag" wheel. So I was going to run the FD "donut" wheel with a speed rated tire.

Thanks for pointing out the cokers. I've heard this is what is used by many. Unfortunately the only tire available for a 16" tim is too tall to fit the SA. Ended up buying aftermarket wheels afterall.
