Rim offset question

I'm thinking about buying these used Work Emotion rims +25 for the front offset and +28 offset for the rear. 17x8 and 17x9 So my question is from what I've read about the offsets of our cars. I'm guessing this offset is too small. It was these or the BBS's, that are +50 offset and +45 I think for the fronts, but I kinda want the Work rims. The guy at the shop said aslong as I lower it it'll be a really tight fit.

+25 and +28 will not work. That offset is way too low. +50/+45 will work fine.

Depends on the wheel width, especially up front where the wheel wells are tight and not forgiving to wrong offset wheels and the wrong tire sizes.

As a general rule:

8" +35 and up
8.5" +37 and up
9" +45 and up
