FD rear fitment help.

Hey guys. Been a while since I have played around with FD wheel fitments, just though I would ask before I made a purchase. Anyway, would an 18x11 +42 have enough inner clearance on the rear of an FD? I wouldnt go crazy on tire size, probably just a 285/30r18 , which is a bit undersized for an 11" wheel but will still work well. I know fender lips will need some work, just mainly worried about inner clearances. Not running this size up front, just rear. Thanks

Just got some Work Meisters last week. Running 18x10 +43 with 265/35 Bridgestone S02s. Ride height is set to 25.5 inches and the clearance is UBER tight with stock unmodified fender lips(see pics). Probably have a half inch between my inner tire and Tein Flex coilovers. You would definitely need to roll the fender lips. I think you should consider at least +45 with those rim widths and tire sizing. I've heard of guys running +50 all around on FDs, but I'm not sure what wheel widths or tire sizing they were running.

Hope this info helps!

11" is hard to make work. If you are running a 285, just get the 18x10 with something close to a +50 offset. +43 is probably the shortest you can go w/o having to roll fenders and that might change depending on the actual tire since there are varations from manufacturer to manu...

I understand this, as Ive run 18x10 +50 CCWs all the way around with 285/30s on my previous setup. With the wheels Im looking at, this is about the only doable rear offsets. I dont care about having to modify the outer fender lip, but if it wont clear the inside thats something I cant fix, and I dont want to run spacers. Thanks for the help guys
