FD correct wheel offsets
What offsets will an FD allow? Tire sizes for 18" wheels?
Will 245/40/18 fit in the front without sever rubbing?
How about 265/35/18 in the rear?
Anyone know if rims off an MKIV Supra use the same offset as an FD?

I know you are looking at that used set of ms6..too late I just paid for them...
Just kidding..
Anyways it really depends on the rim mfg. They will all slightly differ...265's in the rear wont be an issue as long as the offset is in the 40's..(45-50)...with 245's the front will also have to be in the low to mid 40's...to work. Call the guy and tell him/her to give you the offset...I should say on the rim.

Haha you got me . I called the guy he has no idea and says they aren't printed on the rims themselves. According to the Japanese Manaray website http://www.marukanet.co.jp/~new/ms6hpr.htm
I can expect offsets of probably 39 or 44 in both the front and rear. I guess I should cross my fingers and hope they are 44

They should be stamped...maybe on the inside portion on the rim...yeah hopefully 44...39's might work too depending on if you have lowered your car...much. 39's are not bad ..it;s just combined with 245's up front..There is just so much varation between tires, etc etc...I think you will be alright...but it will be close.

When talking about offsets, you cannot compare offsets of two different width wheels.
So - if you are looking at 18X8.5 +45 vs 18X10s +45 - they will sit VERY differently in the wheel well. Specifically, the 18X10's outer face will sit 3/4 in further out of the wheel well then the 18X8.5 i this example.
What wheel widths are you looking at?
