I replaced my front brake pads today and noticed the springs around the pads were pretty crappy and one was broken. I was wondering if these are at all important (other than the one holding the two bolts in) and where to buy new ones. Thanks

I did not notice any difference between running the springs or not running them. I dont think you can buy just the springs. You will have to buy the Mazda brake pads which comes with the springs.
