FD / 929 Master Cylinder

I need to replace my master cylinder and I was deciding if I should get the 929 one or the stock FD one (I don't have a BBK). The decision was made for me by Ray Crowe. The FD master cylinder is no longer available. Neither are new 929 or FD brake reservoirs. I didn't see any posts about this so I thought I'd let everyone know.

There are plenty of good write ups on the 929 MC. Crispy's website and Rob Robinette have good write ups.

Out of curiosity, how much was the 929 MC from Ray? I likely need to replace mine this winter as it's given me some pedal feel issues this year.

Ray had it for $145 shipped.

Here are links for a couple how-to's by reputable forum members:

Easiest mod to do. No need to worry about flaring brake lines... Go to the part store and buy a pre-made brake line with correct fittings in 12" length. Then bend as needed and install. I think it was like $7 for the line but definitely try to borrow a quality line bender.
