FC wheel spacers

What is the maximum thickness for a wheel spacer on the FC without having to press in longer wheel studs and stay safe?

Don't go more than 1/4" as a rule.
The rears cannot even handle that much spacer, cause they are shorter than the fronts!

It also depends on the wheel, as some have a thicker hub than others. Some wheels almost need longer studs without spacers.
