Fc rear sway removal?

Considering getting rid of my rear sway on my s5 vert. Ive heard of people doing this here and there but im not sure. What are the pros and cons? Ive heard that its generally something thats considered aggressive but i dont know. Car is my daily, mostly freeway.

Current suspension mods:
Bilstein hd shocks/struts
Racing beat vert springs
Racing beat sways front and rear

It will make the car understeer more at the limit. If you just drive around town you'll hardly notice a difference. Based on your problem I would pull it off until you figure out why your sway bar is hitting things.

What are the benefits though? If it makes for more understeer at the limit then why do people do it? Itd understeer more than the racing beat rear sway (which causes a little understeer already)?

The benefit of removing the rear bar is more rear traction, if you need it. When my car made 150 HP I ran RB bars front and rear to keep the balance close. It did not have traction problems. It makes ~475 HP now, and I run no rear bar, with the RB front because I need the extra grip in the rear. On the track I can make the car turn more by giving it more throttle.

I have also stiffened the spring rates considerably for track use. Many stiff track setups don't run a rear sway bar. For softer, low HP cars the rear bar will help maintain good balance.

If your rear bar is destroying things however, pull it off until you figure out the solution.

it's also more important to have functional brakes than it is for the car to be able to corner a little bit better.

I'd only remove it if you're young and want to force understeer
