FC Coilover Installation - How much should I compress the springs?

Hey guys, I just bought some coilovers and discovered I didn't quite know what I was doing when it came to setting the height on the coilovers. How much should I compress the spring prior to putting the car on the ground with the adjustable spring perch?

I spent about 15 minutes of searching and reading and didn't find this question ever asked before.

I just snugged the spring seat, no pre-loading of the springs needed. Adjust the height with the lower mounts by turning the bodies.
