Energy Suspension boots

Does anyone have experience with the tie-rod end and balljoint boots from Energy? They just kinda slip on compared to the stock units which need a good tapping to get on and off. The tie-rod end boot seems to seal alright and should be fine when torqued down but the balljoint boot doesn't seem to seal as well. I think it might if it gets torqued down. Anyone have any experience with these things? Ideas, opinions?

Can someone tell me if there is a certain amount the ball joint should insert into the steering knuckle in the front? I got it peeking out around .10" and found that was the best way to get the tokicos to bolt up to the steering knuckle and have plenty of material for the strut-tower nuts to thread on to.

Is it just differnt for different situations? I feel like I should go back and bang on the knuckle more to get the ball joint up more but I don't know how that will affect bolting up the tokicos.
