The End All wheel, tire, and offset thread.

Through looking at countless threads concerning tires and wheels I've decided to make my own thread about the FD. I'm not so familiar with the FC so if you have info, post up.

THE BASICS:

Reading a Tire

Understanding Offset

Tire Racks Tech Center

Tire Calculator

A link to Jimlab's Excel Spreadsheet forum

RCCAZ's pdf version of Jimlab's Spreadsheet

Connor's Tire Rack Thread

RX7 Spec Sheet

Some people know this already but each brand of tire even if it's listed as the same size can be different. Such as BF Goodrich 285's are larger then Toyo 285's.

STOCK FD SPECS

Tire specs:

225/50-16

Bolt Pattern:

5×114.3

Wheel Specs:

If anyone has the stock offset that would be helpful

Use this chart to right your specs.

YOUR SPECS:

Wheel Sizes and Offset: f 19×9.5 +18 r 19×10.5 +17

Tire Brand: Toyo T1R's

Tire Size: f 255/35 r 285/35

Tire looks: Front is slightly streched and rear is flush

Lowered: none (if you car is lowered it would be nice if you could post your setup and how low your slammed)

Camber: (/ \= negative \ /= positive) Some camber but it's stock and i don't know

Rolled: had to roll the rear fenders

Body kit: None/ (If you have a wide body kit or wide fenders it would be nice if you could post this also)

Big Brake Kit/Rotor upgrade: None /(The brand and size and clearance)

Spacers: None (if your running spacers tell us the size)

____________________________

The more information listed the more helpful.

I'm a 350Z owner and I might have gotten some of the specs wrong so if you see anything then post up and i'll fix it.

If you want to post up pics see if you can make them into thumbnail links so were not flooded with images. It's also makes the 56kers not hate us so much.

Please try not to argue.
