ED widebody tire size?

I apologize in advance if this was posted before... Maybe I just suck at the search function. ^_^

I'll be able to get my fd in about a year and I'm trying to plan my project out.
I plan on getting the extreme dimensions duraflex widebody kit http://www.andysautosport.com/mazda/...r00182893.html
Was wondering if anyone know what tire size will fit after this. I plan on using 17" rims but width I don't know after the widebody.
Anyone have experience with this kit? Or know what tire size generally goes on after widebody kits are installed?
Thanks.

On a side note... Is there a cure for this obsession? I don't even own an fd yet (and won't for another year) but, no bs, I troll these 3rd gen forums, watch fd vids... Research like hell the fd for at least 3-4 hours everyday for the past 3 months. Can't stop. Lol

No there is no cure....and just contact ED about it...prolly just use a spacer on a staggered rim set up. Most put the kit on first, measure and then get the proper wheel and tire that they choose

Kinda figured I'd have to do that... Was just trying to have everything figured out and ready for stage 1 of my build for when I get back from deployment.
Hb port, engine rebuild, PFC, whole fuel system (fuel pump, 850/1600 injectors, everything), rb cat back with down/midpipe, boost & afr gauge, water injection, body kit, wing, rims/tires = stage 1 of my project. Gotta love that deployment money...hehe

Thanks for the reply. ^_^

Well the kit will probably fit like serious doo doo. Make sure you have someone over there competent with cheap Fiberglass Bodykit parts. Knows how to block, fill, possibly even break and repair into proper position.

Also take into consideration they will need to reinforce a lot of these pieces so they don't begin to shear away at the mounting holes. Every REAL JDM kit I've ever gotten came with all the installation hardware, clips, reinforcement pieces etc.....

I've had GP sports, Fabulous, Junction Produce, Vertex, and then I've also had a couple of replica kits for the race cars. In all honesty you can see what you pay for and a lot of times the prep work required to get them to fit is more costly than buying the real deal.

andy'sauto is a dealer of ours, same town. hit me up when you're ready and i'll see what i can do for ya.

In regards to wheel fitment the BN WB are pretty wide. Definitely ask ED how much wider and we can determine fitment. However, I would base tire and wheel setup on your power outputs and your racing venues.

I know you can probably fit 12" wheels up front and 13" wheels in the rear but for what purpose? Are the tires affordable, are they practical, are they even made in your diameter. Those are all questions you will need to consider and is why you'll probably just hit up one of the vets like myself to help you when the time actually comes.

With replica stuff I'd suggest installing the kit first, making sure it's symmetrical, and then order your wheels based on realtime final spacing under the fender.

The stock FD fenders can handle plenty of tire: 285/30/18 front and rear with the correct offset.
